J28 has always had a strong emphasis on outreach and our mission to the nations reflects this. We are currently strongly involved in a great work in Machilipatnam, India, to orphans from the devastating tsunami of 2004 which claimed so many lives.
We have given over £100,000 in three years and have built schools and accomadation as well as visiting the work. We partner with Pastor Emmanuel who is an outstanding ambassador of the gospel and love to his community and especially to the orphans in his care. We are excited to announce that Steve and Beryl Smith have agreed to oversee management of the Rock charity shop, bringing with thtem much enthusiasm, experience, passion for the cause and added to that an evangelistic zeal! We believe this is a time of great blessing for the shop as we look to continue and expand our invovlement amongst the orphans in India.
Wanted, absolutely all kinds of CD’s for the Rock charity shop. The shop would also be please to receive any discarded clothing, even the old torn ones, which can be sold on to the rag man. All profits go to help the work in India. Please see Steve or Beryl Smith if you can help.

Mission 2010:
We are now beginning the count down towards our mission to Indian. We leave on the 15th Sept and we are really looking forward to seeing the children. Among the items we are to hoping to take are some kind of toy for each child. Thanks to everyone who has already donate.
