At Junction 28 Church we love our town! South Normanton in Derbyshire is where we are based and we have launched a project called: 'Friend in need', with the goal of reaching out and connecting with our local community.  To achive this we serve our community in many ways: we have put on funday's free of charge with BBQ's, bouncy Castle, free drinks and games, we serve by doing the gardens of those physically unable, give folks in the community lifts to where they need to be (e.g to visit the grave of a loved one), we also meet, chat and pray with the lonely or hurting and have put food hampers and gifts together for people in our community who need it.
