Prayer Meetings
A great church will devote itself to prayer because it depends on God for its existence. Anyone is welcome to the prayer meetings - there are absolutely none for a particular group of people. Each of the prayer meetings are different so try them out, find the one that suits your style of praying, fits into your lifestyle, or just the one that you feel most comfortable in.
500 days of non-stop prayer for the local region and the United Kingdom
Sunday 1st August 2010 was the launch of 500 days of prayer for our nation which will end on Dec 31st 2011. As a church we are involved in this in that we have signed up into the vision on the last Tuesday of each month when we have our 24hr prayer. The vision is to galvanise churches across the nation to blanket the UK in consistent Intercessory prayer. I have put further information about the vision on the notice board in the foyer or speak to me (Gwen) if you want to know anything else. We are also looking for individuals to volunteer to fast and pray or pray for a day in those 500 days. Plenty have volunteered from London but as of yet not many people in the rest of the country have heard about this - so please think about it and pray for both our area and our nation.
3 day prayer and water only fasting
The next one that we are hosting from this church under the banner of Israel Key to UK Revival is at Northampton Nov 22nd - 24th 2010. Although it is a really intense time of prayer and fasting and in no way can be considered easy - it is also a time of incredible blessing - so please pray about whether you should be joining us this time .
